Lucas #7900 Green SheenTM

Lucas 7900 green sheen  is a VOC compliant water borne protective coating for concrete pavers and roof tiles. It is manufactured from a new type of plant derived polymer. #7900 will penetrate porous surfaces and bind the concrete or clay particles together. This will minimize erosion of the surface while improving the color and appearance. #7900 will also penetrate and bind together sand in paver joints. This limits movement, retards the growth of weeds and inhibits insects such as ants that can displace the joint sand and cause concrete pavers to settle. Comes in 5 gallon size bucket.

Description

Lucas #7900 Green SheenTM is manufactured from a proprietary bio-based polymer in a water vehicle. Formulated for maximum water blush resistance and semi- gloss appearance.

APPLICATION

The surface to be sealed must be clean and dry. Pressure washing of the pavers with 1000—1500 psi fan tip is recommended prior to sealing. Do not apply to concrete pavers or roof tiles in temperatures over 100o F to avoid blistering or pin-holing. Material and application temperature must be 50oF minimum. Humidity must be less than 90% with no threat of rain for 24 hours. Not resistant to petroleum products or animal fats. Do not allow the product to freeze before application and for 24 hours after application. This product is not recommended for natural or artificial stone tiles or other dense surfaces. Do not use on decorative tiles with holes or pitting where the sealer can collect.

Apply product as it comes from the container with a high volume commercial pump sprayer with a 1/2 gallon per minute tip or with a 3/4 inch nap roller. Do not use form oil sprayers as the oil will contaminate the sealer. When re- coating pavers and when applying to less absorptive surfaces, apply 300 to 350 sq. ft. per gallon for a semi- gloss surface. Should be applied in 2 coats on concrete pavers only for best results. For new and unsealed concrete pavers, apply one coat at 150 to 175 sq. ft. per gallon.

Clean up: Soap and water (wet coating).

Shelf Life: One year from the date of manufacture
